The Global Forum for Combating Antisemitism (GFCA) is the premier bi-annual gathering for assessing the state of Antisemitism globally, and formulating effective forms of societal and governmental response. The Forum serves as an important meeting place for exchange of knowledge and for formulating the global work plan for combatting Antisemitism.

The 2015 Global Forum will focus on two main themes:  The Oldest Hatred in the Newest Vessels: Confronting Antisemitism and Hate Speech on the Internet and in Social Media

The ARI Institute will be discussing the special role of Israel and the Jewish people throughout history and why this is more relevant than ever right now. For more  insight about the special role of the Jews in global affairs, the  following is an excerpt from Michael Laitman’s Huffington Post blog, How Have The Jewish People Survived?:

“Throughout history, Jews have been persecuted, dispersed, and almost annihilated more times than one can count. We must not forget them, certainly not the Holocaust, and yet it seems that mere remembering the persecutions and executions does not prevent future atrocities from taking place.

This brings to mind three questions: 1) Why has remembering the persecutions alone not helped prevent future ones? 2) What will prevent the next catastrophe? 3) If so many nations have tried to annihilate the Jews for so many centuries, then why are there still Jews?”
