In general we can divide reality into two parts:
1) Until today, Nature developed man through the external conditions around us.
2) Henceforth, man will develop as a part of Nature, through the internal conditions of our social connections.
A Man’s World
Until now we grew and developed right up to the limit of material consumption through political, economic, educational, health, and cultural systems, through individual consumption from the invention of pizza to the most sophisticated technological inventions. Since the days of the caveman running around chasing animals, we have to admit that we have advanced and created very comfortable conditions that are within every citizen’s reach. Not to diminish from humanity’s achievements in any way, which did not come easily – stabilizing all the systems and managing the world is a very complex business. At the same time, just like any other business that lives off the market fluctuations, the world market is currently showing signs of uncertainty and dissatisfaction from the way our life is being managed. We see this in children’s education, the world economy, terror, natural disasters, and the degradation of the environment. All this deterioration should bring us to search for new ways to continue our normal and positive development in the best possible manner, just as we did throughout history.
Man and His World
We are now beginning a new stage in our lives; the thought that we are a generation that is facing historic changes that will determine new standards for the next generations is good news, but at the same time, it comes with great responsibility on our part. We have one home called ”Planet Earth,” and a common denominator called “man.” In order to stabilize our home, we must find new modes of living.
What Can Be Done?
No one has clear answers, and there is no need to be ashamed of the impasse we have reached. Heads of state, economists, and a variety of global analysts admit that the world cannot continue on our current trend. Where do we go from here? No one can say. This is not an attempt to instill fear or create a pessimistic scenario, but simply the facts.
Therefore, we must sit down together, learn about the situation, and see how to move toward a new and better reality. The only condition for building this new home (our world) is that we all build it together. Please believe that this is not unrealistic. In fact, it is just the opposite; reality itself shows us that the social systems are deteriorating. People from all over the world would not be going out demonstrate at the expense of their free time unless they felt dissatisfied with the current situation. We must understand and agree that we have common interests. That will be the starting point of the new and improved society.
