Unveiling a New Human Prototype

Obama’s Science Czar, John Holdren, co-authored Ecoscience in 1977, along with his close colleagues Paul R. Ehrlich and Anne H. Ehrlich.

In his book, Holdren advocates the following:

  • Making it criminal to have more than two children.
  • Forcing women to abort their pregnancies, just as in China.
  • Sterilizing the population at-large with infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food.
  • Requiring a license to give birth.
  • Implementing a system of “involuntary birth control,” where both men and women would be mandated to have an infertility device implanted into their body at puberty.

  • Seizing babies born to single mothers and teen mothers against their will, and giving the babies to other couples to raise.
  • People who «contribute to social deterioration by over reproducing» (i.e. undesirables)» could be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility» — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
  • Establishing a “Planetary Regime” that might be responsible “for determining the optimum population for the world and each region and for arbitrating various countries’ shares within their regional limits…[and] have some power to enforce the agreed limits.”

You might think this is a joke. But no, unfortunately that is not the case. The third edition of this book co-authored by President Obama’s assistant is still available for sale.

Despite Holdren’s proposition for totalitarian compulsory restriction of the right to bear children and other historic attempts and actions of genocide, the world has grown to 7 billion.

Everything that has transpired in all four corners of the earth over the last few months is engulfing us in a completely new feeling—and it’s called “love.” In the last 50 years we haven’t encountered anything like it or that even comes close to it. As a result of all the protests of the 7 billion people on the planet, our will to live has grown!

Suddenly the world has stopped being divided, isolated, or private. The feeling of belonging to the world, and being part of the human race has swept through the entire universe like wildfire. This reminds us of the faded parts from our collective memory. The amount of information flowing through the media channels today is truly titanic. Cultures are being exposed to one another, there are signs of a rejuvenated humanity wherever we look, and our social affinity has risen to unprecedented levels. So what is the problem? Does the outlook not sound optimistic?

The problem is very simple: At the moment, all this belonging to something larger than ourselves is being revealed through the suffering of citizens throughout the world, whether it’s the receding economy, receding ecology, receding education, or…. Actually, what is not receding at the moment?

Unemployment, economic hardship, the deterioration of families, ecological disasters, and more have really pushed us to the brink. At the same time we are gradually discovering a new human prototype. We are beginning to understand that each person has value, that human beings were not born to suffer. There is a connection between us, and we can change. Suddenly someone is willing to hear us. Are you asking why?

In the simplest manner neither Obama nor Holdren, or the European Union, will decide how to lead the 7 billion citizens of the planet based on their understanding of the situation. No more, because the first cracks in the dam of imperviousness we lived in until now are quickly making it a thing of the past. At the same time, we must enhance the global connection with all our might, and realize that life is a gift. It is not entirely clear why just yet, but it is really not important. The main thing is to live along with the other 7 billion inhabitants of the earth, even if it is not in tune with Holdren’s perspective of things, or the many others who came before him.
